ORABA HistoryChapter HistoryFounded in 2009, ORABA is an official chapter of Association for Behavior Analysis International. Our board consists of teachers and practitioners of Applied Behavior Analysis who care deeply about helping their communities. Our aims are to disseminate information about ABA, provide educational opportunities for parents and providers, and advocate legislative policies that protect consumers of ABA services. Originally, ORABA comprised a small pool of active members and certified practitioners. Following the passage of Senate Bills 365 and 696, which mandated insurance coverage of ABA services for children with autism and created a title act for ABA licensure, we are growing to meet the needs of Oregonians.
