Undergraduate Level

Programs

BCaBA® Course Sequence
This undergraduate five course sequence is integrated within the Applied Psychology BS degree program. The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.® has approved this course sequence as meeting the course work requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® exam.

B.S. Applied Psychology
Our undergraduate training program is incorporated within the Applied Psychology undergraduate curriculum and has been approved by the BACB® as meeting coursework standards for certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst®.

Programs

BCBA® Course Sequence

The Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis is a 27-credit, nine-course sequence for individuals wish to pursue additional coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis. The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.® has approved this course sequence as meeting the course work requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® exam.

M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis

Oregon’s only master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, the MS-ABA curriculum focuses on providing a rigorous and thorough foundation in the science of behavior analysis. Students will be prepared to apply the principles of behavior analysis with diverse populations and in a wide variety of settings. Oregon Tech’s MS-ABA prepares students to meet national certification and Oregon licensure requirements.

Courses are taught on the Klamath Falls and Portland-Metro campuses and are available to students everywhere via Zoom (a synchronous videoconferencing program). The use of Zoom technology provides an alternative to fully online, asynchronous programs for students in all areas of the state who prefer the real-time, face-to-face educational experience.

MEd in Education with Emphasis in ABA and ASD

This 45-credit MEd program combines Oregon Tech’s 27-credit Graduate Certificate in ABA with 18 credits of Southern Oregon University’s Autism Spectrum Disorders course sequence. The program provides rigorous training to meet the demand for well-qualified professionals to serve families and individuals with autism.

Programs

Online Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)  Designed to prepare clinician-researchers to apply the science of human behavior and learning to a variety of populations and settings with particular emphasis on meeting the needs of individuals with disabilities in educational, home, and clinical settings. Courses are available online, asynchronously with some synchronous discussion groups.

Programs

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst program in Portland State University’s Department of Special Education is a 29 quarter-credit fully online program that expertly prepares program participants with content derived from the fourth edition of the Behavior Analyst Task List. In addition, the program includes a number of added curricular areas of focus, including an explicit emphasis on the combined use of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports and Telehealth/Technology Supports. (Applicants for the BCBA® exam will have to meet additional requirements to qualify.)
